I don’t read reviews anymore

Reviews are broken. Today, it’s all about being noticed. It really doesn’t matter whether you know the subject or not. Your review must be catchy. This is why I don’t read reviews anymore. People try hard to be unique, eloquent while writing reviews, but it does not work. It is not enough to say that movie/book was dull. You really have to prove that you know the subject, that you have learned about references, that you have read the references, before posting the review. And, unfortunately, most of the reviews turn out to be a completely subjective point of view. Including reviews of my own.
